Camping, COVID-19 and my Holidays

We think that we should inform you so that you have a safe vacation, at our campsite or elsewhere.

What does the campsite do to avoid COVID-19?

In addition to the minimum regulations to open, which is specified in the ICTE Guidelines and Recommendations for Campings, we have incorporated the HOSBEC protocol, recommendations from Biologists and experts in the field.

  • More than 25 extra measures in cleaning.
  • More than 15 extra measures in occupational safety.
  • Double specific training, carried out by 2 certified companies and by departments.
  • Contingency protocol of the camping.
  • Installation of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers and adaptation of the facilities.
  • Specific disinfection before opening carried out by certified companies.

We have been working with quality seals for 20 years and certifying ourselves in the company, so the new regulations do not represent a radical change in our operation, but rather an adaptation or annex. If we previously offered 100% compliance security, now 110%.

Since 18th July, mask is not optional. Mask must be worn except at swimming pools and after sitting at restaurant or terrace table.

– Persons six years of age and older are required to wear the mask at all times on public roads, in open air spaces and in closed spaces for public use or open to the public.
– The use of the masks in private open or closed spaces is recommended when there is a confluence with non-cohabitants or when the interpersonal safety distance of 1.5 meters cannot be guaranteed.

More space, more cleaning, more security.

What will change for me when I go on vacation?

Everything is based on 1.5m spacing and hygiene, as in any area of our life. From here, the camping is in charge.

Although there are signs with instructions that must be followed, the most notable is the following:

  • Obligation to report any symptoms compatible with the disease.
  • Heed the instructions of the camping staff and the posters.
  • Maintain the 1.5m distance between people.
  • Try to use instant messaging with Reception or calls, and thus avoid unnecessary travel.
  • You can order food online or by phone and you will be taken to the plot or bungalow, in addition to being able to reserve a table.
  • Try to pay with contactless payment methods: card / mobile.
  • The paper will be eliminated as far as possible: sending an invoice by email, a letter from the Online restaurant, elimination of brochures, etc.
  • There will be a limited capacity in swimming pools, toilets, supermarkets and common areas.
  • There will be changes in the hours of reception, restaurant, swimming pools, etc. These changes can lead to closings for some moments due to disinfection.
  • Some common areas, facilities and services will be canceled.
  • The toilets and bathrooms will be for the exclusive use of people who do not have this service in their accommodation. In other words, bungalow clients will not be able to use them when they have this service.
  • The campsite will ensure compliance with the rules, which will be signed by customers before entry and / or during acceptance of the reservation. In case of non-compliance with the established coexistence rules, the campsite can act accordingly and terminate the contract without refund of the amount paid.

Is it safe to go camping?

The camping is, according to various experts in the field, one of the safest places to spend your holidays, because it offers social distance, the outdoors and few common areas of great risk such as an elevator or a corridor.

In our case, the campsite will prioritize safety, so reservations will be limited in order to offer an adequate service. Less is more.

Will there be animation?

As of today we have not found a formula that guarantees the animation of the campsite while maintaining all the security measures. We continue to work to reestablish service, but we cannot assure you.

Since 1st July Children Entertainment Service has been restored with daily 10-14h schedule.

What news will the Camping have?

Before confinement, we were working on several novelties to offer this Summer 2020. Some will not be able to be executed on time due to interruption of supplier supply and problems derived from the COVID-19 crisis.

1. Change of meters and remote reading of electric meters (in process)
2. Safari Stores (complete).
3. Modernization of some bungalows (incomplete).
4. Improvement of facilities for dogs and first phase of bungalows for dogs (complete).
5. Improvement in the fiber TV system (in process).
6. Night Pool and Chill Out area (in process).

What should I bring to the camping that I did not have before?

In addition to the inevitable face masks, which we will try to keep in stock at the supermarket whenever the market allows it and at cost price, we recommend the following:

  • Appropriate footwear for showers and toilets.
  • Reusable gloves.
  • Shampoo and gel, since we must eliminate the amenities.

Much strength and encouragement

Finally, before saying goodbye, we would like to ask you to go wherever you go on tourism, respect the rules and inform yourself of the measures taken by the establishment.

Take care of yourself and enjoy every moment, wherever.
