One of the most awaited every year is the Costa Blanca Bike Race (Five Continents Race), an event that brings together hundreds of adventure and exercise enthusiasts every year. And that with each edition is increasing its fame to the point that it has become an unmissable event for many people from different parts of the country and the planet.

What is the Costa Blanca Bike Race and where is it held?
In a nutshell, the Costa Blanca Bike Race is the event of the year for mountain bike lovers. It is a competition of the UCI S1 category by stages in which every year the best bikers of the planet meet.
Through four stages, the participants will travel through some of the most interesting points of the geography of the area, getting to know impressive mountain landscapes where they will cross risky trails and areas of great beauty.
One of the most interesting points of the Costa Blanca Bike Race is that the race can be done both that the race can be done both individually and in pairs, which are the two categories established by the organization of the event.
When will the Costa Blanca Bike Race be held in 2023?
The Costa Blanca Bike Race 2023 edition will be held at the end of January; specifically, between the 26th and 29th. Each of these days one of the stages will take place, which are designed to make for mountain bike enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite sport like never before.
The race takes place around the municipality of Calpe, located just 30 minutes from our facilities. It is a wonderful coastal area where you can enjoy an excellent climate even in the cold months, making it ideal for exercising in the mountains.
Two registration modalities
In addition to the possibility of living the experience individually or in pairs, the race has adapted its route for two levels of athletes.

On the one hand, there is the possibility of doing the FULL registration, which includes the four stages and the four days of competition. On the other hand, there is the option of joining only two of the four days, thus reducing the demand.
In both cases the race is designed for the following categories of athletes: SUB23, ELITE, MASTER 30, MASTER 40, MASTER 50 and MASTER 60.
What are its stages?
In the Costa Blanca Bike Race, there are stages for all tastes. It is certain that the organization has managed to take advantage of the territory to design a route that offers challenges to all participants, whatever their tastes.
Each year, the race modifies the routes and varies the distances, to always offer a challenge to the participants who repeat each year, but there are always a series of “mandatory” points, or classics, that must be in the race for the enjoyment of all.
Stage 1: Calpe
The first stage surrounds the municipality of Calpe. Therefore, the start and finish will take place in the city’s Creativity Park. The start will take place at 10:00 a.m. and the finish line will be closed at 16:00 hours.
Stage 2: Antennas of Albir
The second stage is one of the most anticipated moments for all bikers who sign up for the full tour. We are talking about the climb to the Antenas del Albir, in the town of Altea.
This stage is the most challenging because of the steep climb that cyclists must make through rural roads and routes. However, it is also one of the most enjoyed due to the breathtaking views of the bay of Altea, which opens to the Mediterranean in a very special way from these points. The schedule for this second stage is the same as the first day.
Stage 3: Calpe
On the third day, the participants who will only do two of the four stages will join the competition. This new race is once again focused on the territory surrounding the city of Calpe and, according to the experience of previous stages, it is the most important race of the year. that bets more on mountain routes, trails and trialeras. Again, the race schedule is repeated.
Stage 4: Calpe
The final stage of the Costa Blanca Bike Race has the same timetable and will be held at the same time. is the most “festive” day of the experience. It is a route designed for the enjoyment of the participants, who will travel both on road and mountain territories to get the most out of their bike.
How to register for the Costa Blanca Bike Race
The way to join this competition is through the official website of the event. On the home page, those interested will find a button to register for both the “Full” version of the race and the “Half” modality, with only two stages.
As usual in this type of sporting event, the earlier you register, the cheaper it will be to pay for a place. In this case, the highest price for the individual participation is 160 euros and for the registration in pairs 320 per couple.
