Albir Beach

Reading time: 1 minutes

It is the pebble beach of the town of Alfaz del Pi (2 km inland) and has a promenade along the sea, full of bars and cafes. The promenade runs from El Albir to Altea. Sunday Market in El Albir.

In our post about what to see in Alfaz del Pi we tell you everything, but to summarize, it’s a town known for its focus on wellness tourism, with numerous complexes dedicated to health tourism. It stands out for its large Norwegian community and diversity of nationalities in its restaurant offerings. El Albir beach is part of Alfaz del Pi or L’Alfàs, as it’s known in this area. This beach is notable for its Walk of Fame and for being a pebble beach. If you don’t like the feeling of sand sticking to your body, this is your beach!

The beach is crowned by the end of the Sierra Helada Natural Park, the beginning or end of Benidorm hiking routes. It’s one of the favorite activities, as well as the route to the Albir Lighthouse, whose views you can’t miss.

To get to this beach you can take Bus 10 from Av. Mediterráneo in Benidorm.

We recommend the Albir Lighthouse route. It’s an easy hiking route of about 30 minutes on asphalt, with privileged views.
