In creating our ranking, we’ve noticed the increasing popularity of the terms Glamping and Camping Resort. We’ve already discussed this in previous posts. On this occasion, we’ll focus on how we created the list of the best campsites in Spain.
- We reviewed platforms such as Pincamp.de (formerly ADAC), ANWB.nl, GoogleMaps, and Tripadvisor.
- We select campsites that have more than X reviews, depending on the platform. We believe that having 10 reviews cannot, at the moment, give you enough credibility.
- We put all the data from Inspectors and Users in a table, except for Booking.com.
- Many large and well-known campsites are not on Booking.com and therefore would not have a rating, which would alter the average score.
- When we have all the data, we ask AI to analyze the tables, indicating all of the above and asking it to also mention those campsites that are not inspected but have good user ratings.
**We hope our colleagues in the sector don’t feel offended, as we may have omitted some campsites. We apologize in advance.

The most outstanding campsites in Spain in 2025 combine privileged locations, excellent facilities, and consistent ratings on major review platforms. The best overall continue to be the great classics such as Camping Aquarius, La Ballena Alegre, Amfora, and Sangulí, while La Marina Resort and Alannia Costa Blanca stand out for their resort-style approach with luxury services.
However, the analysis by Booking.com has revealed new trends in the camping industry, where options for glamping and smaller campsites with a focus on comfort and exclusivity are gaining popularity. Examples such as Glamping Do Mar, Tranquilo Glamping, and Costa del Sol Glamping Village show that outdoor tourism is evolving towards more personalized and high-end experiences.
Therefore, while traditional campsites remain the first choice for families and classic camping enthusiasts, glamping options are emerging as a premium alternative for those seeking a more comfortable and exclusive experience in nature.
