What to do in Benidorm if it rains

Benidorm is the city of sun and good weather. However, and although it is rare, as we have to understand… it also rains. And we know it’s bad luck not to be able to enjoy the beaches of Benidorm, but maybe you still don’t know that there are many alternative plans. We already presented you our article of 35 Ideas to do in Benidorm, but today, from Camping Armanello we present…

Our list of things to do when it rains in Benidorm 👏👏

1. Bowling alley

On Avenida Mediterráneo we find Ozone Bowling, a bowling alley with 14 lanes with bumpers (barriers) if you need them. In addition, plenty of machines to play alone, or challenge your companions to foosball or billiards.

Where?

2. Cinema

Little to add to the quintessential gray day plan. In Benidorm, we find:

If you also want to go to the movies and take advantage of plan 6:

Remember the discounts (University or Youth Card, seniors over 65,…) and enjoy the spectator’s day (at Colci Cinemas on Wednesdays except holidays, and at IMF on Mondays and Wednesdays except holidays).

3. Escape Room

As we mentioned in the post about Escape Room, it is undoubtedly a great plan for a day when the weather is not suitable for being outdoors. Here we tell you what it is, what rooms there are in Benidorm and their price.

4. Benidorm Circus

A circus without animals for the whole family. A small circus with all kinds of artists: acrobats, dancers, magicians and the beloved clowns. A true spectacle of light and sound.

5. Medieval Challenge

We are in 12th century England to attend a spectacular one and a half hour medieval challenge while enjoying a dinner. Robin Hood needs help and you are the protagonist of the story. Get discounted tickets at the campsite reception.

6. Shopping in the old town of Benidorm or in the shopping malls.

You are sure to be surprised by the center of Benidorm. From stores with the most luxurious brands, to stores with the best prices. Jewelry stores, handicraft stores, clothing and footwear.

And if you are not one of those who like to go shopping, but you want to accompany your family, you can wait in the Zona de los Vascos, having a tapas and tasting the Alicante D.O. wines.

If you are more into shopping malls, in La Marina Shopping Center there are hundreds of stores, restaurants and entertainment area with bowling, playgrounds and cinema. Do not forget that parking is free, but you can also go by bus or by TRAM – Alicante Tram.

7. Library

It is open all year round from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, except in August when it is open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. With a special room for children, where they can read both at tables and in a special less formal area.

Where?

8. Excursion to Alicante

Take the TRAM, enjoy a streetcar ride along the Alicante coast and get off at the MARQ – Archaeological Museum of Alicante stop.

The Museum is divided into several permanent rooms: Prehistory Hall, Roman Culture Hall, Iberian Hall, Middle Ages Hall, Modern and Contemporary Culture Hall. As well as in thematic rooms: Excavating in a church, Excavating underwater and Excavating underwater. In addition, there are multiple temporary exhibitions. Here you can check the rates.

After visiting the MARQ, you can do some shopping at Primark or El Corte Inglés.

A round day indoors!

9. Mendoza Winery

Did you know that in these wineries we find one of the best red wines in Spain? Find out all about Bodegas Mendoza in their post and arrive from the campsite in a few minutes.

10. Camping Armanello

Why not relax in your bungalow or on your plot?

We adapt the animation of the campsite and do activities in the Social Club. Or come to the supermarket, buy supplies for an afternoon on the couch and enjoy the international channels in the bungalows or pick up a book from our camping library. Or take the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at the restaurant.

In bad weather, good plans.
